In order to access the third floor of the library, one needs to enter either of the doors that can be found on AC-3G01 of the library building. On the third floor of the library, you can find a quiet study zone with plenty of space for independent study in a peaceful environment. It would be appreciated if you kept your conversation to a minimum on the third floor.
Students, staff, and faculty at YCWIFI have access to wireless access throughout the entire library by logging in with their YCWIFI usernames and passwords.

ADA accessible computer—
The library has one ADA accessible computer on the third floor west and one CCTV workstation; additional CCTV magnifiers are installed on the east side of the library (Guy R. Brewer Blvd window.)
Group Study Rooms—
A total of eight Group Study Rooms (A-H) is facilitated for students using the reservation system on the East Guy R Brewer Blvd side of the library.
Computer Workstations (Zone-A, B, C and E)—
The computer workstation zones have been illustrated with color codes at the technology layout. A total of 100 all-in-one PCs are located in this zone, which is connected to a Cardinal Reserve and Print management system.
Computer Workstations (Zone-D)—
A navy blue color code has been illustrated at the technology layout for the computer workstation Zone-D. In total, there are 40 PCs installed in these 10 X-Cubicles. There are 40 PCs connected to the Cardinal Reserve and Print management system. Two Cardinal Pay Stations and two Print Release Stations are displayed. Library Administration offices are located in the NorthEast center of the library.
Nearby 3rd floor main G-Wing main entrance— Guest Station, Printing Stations, Scanners, Pay Stations, Copy Center & ADA Workstation will be available.

Restrooms—
There are no restrooms on the 3rd floor. Take a stair to the 2nd floor north, where both the men's and women's restrooms can be found.
Copy Center (CC)—
Located to the right as you enter the library’s third floor. Walk past the Guest Station and you will see the sign for the Copy Center hanging from the ceiling.
Book ScanCenter—
Located on the left as you enter the library's third floor. Across from the Copy Center you will see the 5 Book Scanners available for you to use.

Print Release Station (PRS)—
Located near each printer in the library there is a computer marked “Print Release Station” where you can enter your York Network login information to release the print job.
ILIC information literacy classroom (AC-3G09)
The 31 Workstation's information literacy classroom is currently available (only by advance reservation) to the faculty in present to facilitate library instructional teachings related to the use of the library's computer lab located to the south of the library's quiet study area at the south end of the building.

IT Service Desk
York College's Information Technology department is making some changes to its technology support hours because of its new Distance-Learning program. The majority of IT support staff works remotely. Due to this, the library's IT service desk is currently unavailable.
Y-Connect Self Service Portal is available from any browser, on or off campus, for any technology issue you may have. You will be contacted by a customer-care representative after clicking submit Y-Connect Portal.
A collection of periodicals in print and microform, as well as a special microform collection.
Periodicals are located on the main floor (third floor) of the G-wing, and microforms are on the lower floor (second floor) of the G-wing. The library has over 450 current subscription titles, over 55,000 microfilm reels, and over 90,000 microfiche cards. Also available online are many of our periodical titles.
