Student email has been migrated to a new version of Microsoft Office 365 for Education. There are many features that are the same, but students may have to make configuration changes on their desktop or tablet devices and on their smartphones as well.
Office 365 for Education is provided by CUNY through an agreement with Microsoft and is managed by CUNY. This email platform is built on the Exchange email platform, and it provides many other useful features, such as cloud storage, shared calendars, online meetings, Team Sites, as well as anti-spam and anti-virus protection. As well as cloud-based applications, you will have access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
To access York Office 365, go to https://www.york.cuny.edu/it/webteam/live. Activate your Office 365 account by logging in with your York Network credentials.
