What is GlobalProtect?
Using GlobalProtect, you can connect your device to the York College network securely and privately. It is necessary to add this extra layer of security in order to access certain university resources, especially when connecting remotely. A student may be required to connect to a protected server in a laboratory using GlobalProtect.
Members of the faculty and staff can use GlobalProtect to connect to their office computer in order to complete assignments from their home computer.
The instructions below detail how to connect Windows computers from outside to a Windows computer on the York College Campus Network (YC-VPN).
Installation for GlobalProtect Clients VPN is available as "GlobalProtect64.msi".
