Social Work

This guide is a collection of resources to make research and library use easier for the social work students, faculty, and staff. It's designed as a central hub of information about the library & its social work-related resources.

Streaming Databases

York Library subscribes to several streaming video platforms, including:

  • Academic Video Online: Comprehensive video database with over 70,000 titles spanning a wide range of subject areas including counseling, health, and more. Academic Video Online also includes some popular film titles and award-winning documentaries.
  • Kanopy: A limited number of videos are available to stream via Kanopy.
  • Social Work Online: All the video content is structured around twelve key topics in the social work curriculum, most of which are applicable worldwide and illustrate the complex and challenging realities social work students will face as practitioners.

Use your CUNY login when prompted to access these resources remotely.
